Jobr & Co. ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our platform.
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, payment info), data generated through platform use (property details, staff records, financial data), and technical data (IP address, browser type, device info).
We use your data to provide and improve our services, process payments, communicate with you, and ensure platform security. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance and conduct regular security audits.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation of a paid plan, data is preserved for 90 days before permanent deletion. If you initiate account deletion directly (from Settings → Delete account on web or iOS), your account enters a 30-day grace period during which it is locked (read-only). On day 30, all of your data — properties, staff, residents, tasks, transactions, documents, and calendar events — is permanently and irreversibly deleted. You can cancel the deletion at any time during the grace period by signing in and tapping "Cancel deletion."
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data at any time. Account deletion can be initiated directly from the app (Settings → Delete account) or from the web. Contact privacy@jobrandco.com for any additional data requests.
Our iOS application handles several types of data on your device: (1) Apple Push Notification tokens for task reminders and expense approval notifications — stored server-side and linked to your user account; never shared with third parties. (2) StoreKit purchase receipts when you subscribe via Apple In-App Purchase — processed by Apple, verified by us to grant entitlement; no credit card data is ever transmitted to or stored on our servers. (3) No Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is requested or collected. (4) No cross-app tracking occurs; we do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission because we do not share data with data brokers. (5) On-device use of the Camera, Photo Library, Vision (receipt OCR), and Location is opt-in and only used to populate your household records; none of these data streams are transmitted for any purpose beyond creating the records you explicitly requested.
If you choose Sign in with Apple and enable the "Hide My Email" option, Apple provides us with a forwarding alias (ending in privaterelay.appleid.com) instead of your real email. We honor this choice — we store the alias for operational purposes and, separately, the canonical address you provided in any other context (e.g. a staff invitation typed by your Principal). At no point do we attempt to resolve the relay to your real email.
